Astra Verdix provides a control layer between an AI system's ability to act and the systems where those actions create consequences.
Every evaluated action receives a clear outcome.
The action satisfies the conditions required to move forward.
The action cannot responsibly progress yet. Additional evidence, review, modification, or changed conditions are required.
The action is invalid, disallowed, expired, or otherwise does not satisfy the conditions required to proceed.
Authorization determines whether a system can act.
Astra Verdix determines whether the action should occur.
Astra Verdix evaluates the proposed action itself:
What supports the action and why it is justified.
The policies and conditions that apply.
Existing controls remain responsible for identity, access, permissions, and execution authority.
The specific action being attempted.
Where and against whom it will occur.
What may follow if the action proceeds.
Whether it remains appropriate at the time of progression.
Astra Verdix does not replace the customer's security or authorization stack. It adds the action-level decision those systems were not designed to make.
Govern the action that actually moves forward.
Where integrated with an execution path, Astra Verdix can bind progression to the evaluated action.
If the action, target, scope, or material conditions change, the request must be evaluated again.
AI capability should not outrun organizational control.
Control the decision before it becomes a consequence.
